The Friends of Normand Park is a group of dedicated local residents who have a passion for the park and are committed to ensuring the park is loved and used by the whole community.

The Friends were instrumental in the park’s design, and are closely involved in the day to day management of the new park working closely with Sarah Johnson.  Sarah is the Park Community Development Officer who is working with the community to organise events and activities to ensure the park is well-used and cared for, and remains a great outdoor community space.  Become a member of local site w14&sw6 and keep up to date with what is happening in your local park.

The Garden Gathering meets every Wednesday from 4-6pm.  All are welcome! If you would like to find out what happens in the community garden and how you can get involved, just come on down and have a chat with the gardening club.  To find out more contact the Park Officer.

Sarah Johnson- Park Community Development Officer
Sarah Johnson, the Park Community Development Officer is available in the park Monday to Friday between 2 and 5:30pm.  It is great that Sarah commits her afternoons to being in the park.  Park users are able to find Sarah in the hut (next to the café) or around the park and talk to her about any ideas, comments or concerns related to park activities, events and non urgent issues.
